about

“THE FEAST OF THE DEDICATION WAS TAKING PLACE IN JERUSALEM . . .” - John 10:22

The Feast of the Dedication, also known as The Festival of Lights or Hanukah, is an eight-day Jewish holiday commemorating the re-dedication of the Holy Temple (the Second Temple) in Jerusalem at the time of the Maccabean revolt of the 2nd Century B.C.E. Christians are the extension of Judaism, however we know that now as St. Paul writes “our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit.”

This project reflects a “Feast of the Dedication” for the self, consecrating oneself through artistic ritual to God.

Released on Pentecost Sunday 2013, it reflects the fire sent upon the Apostles that same day from the Holy Spirit,
consecrating this Sacrificial Dedication.

As Part 2 of the About the Author series, it features narration and personal stories into the life of Brandon Feel-X Morel, as told from his best friend Vaughn “LVG” Ephraim.
